IKEA China Bans Napping Customers

We want a conducive place to rest but unfortunately, not all places are conducive enough. We define conducive as a place with sufficient air-conditioning and soft beds. Fortunately, IKEA shops in China provide this kind of comfort.

IKEA is composed of retail stores that designs and sells ready-to-assemble furniture. In fact, in 2008, IKEA was herald as the largest furniture retailer in the world. The company was founded in Sweden by Ingvar Kamprad. IKEA stands for Ingvar Kamprad Elmtaryd Agunnaryd.

Apart from furniture, IKEA is also famous for its modern designs for their appliances and interior design. Many people like IKEA because of its simplicity and eco-friendly features. IKEA have different shops around the world. We also have numerous shops here in Singapore.

IKEA gives comfort to people by allowing their Beijing shop to accommodate customers who want to  nap and enjoy the furniture. This promotional proved to be effective at first but this turned out to be a nuisance which lead to the banning of customers from napping recently. Customers come to the shop every day and enjoy the comforts but they have no intentions of buying.

These customers are in the way for potential buyers. IKEA complained that these nappers are becoming an annoyance not only for the management but for other customers. Despite the banning, the management is having difficulty ensuring that the rules are followed by customers.

It is really difficult to take away comfort but this is a business establishment and the customers should respect their rules. If we are really comfortable with the products of IKEA, the least that we can do is purchase it.
